When can I make a reservation?
TAD and PCS guest may reserve up to one year in advance at the Inns of the Corps and at the Klipper Villas.
Active duty stationed aboard Kaneohe Bay or Camp Smith may reserve up to 4 months in advance.
Active duty Marines not stationed on Kaneohe Bay may reserve up to 3 months in advance.
Active duty (any branch other than marine), reservist or retired military may reserve 2 months in advance.
DOD employees (active and retired) may reserve 1 month in advance.
Reservation exceptions are only granted for command sponsored events such as retirement ceremonies, change of command and weddings for active duty members
aboard Kaneohe Bay only.
Can I make a reservation for someone else?
Yes, however the reservation must be made in the military member’s name. The military member must also be present at check in with their ID card. The sponsor is responsible for base access privileges of their guest. For more information, contact (808) 254-2806.
If you are coming to visit a service member, the same rules as above apply. Please note: At no time can a name be changed on a reservation .
How do I gain base access with a rental car?
Typically you will need a copy of your registration card to bring to the pass office.
If you are being sponsored to stay on base, your sponsor must accompany you to the pass office.

Where do we go to check in for the Inns of the Corps, Cabanas, Villas or Beach Cottages?
Check in for all lodging facilities in the Inns of the Corps lobby located by the front gate entrance.
Is there a shuttle on base?
Currently no, there is not. There are several taxi services if you do not have a vehicle. (Please note if you are staying at The Cabanas or at The Cottages, you will need a vehicle to get to them as you cross an active runway, no pedestrian traffic is permitted).
For military and DOD employees, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an office on base.

When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is anytime after 1500, check-out is by 1100 for all of our facilities. The front desk is open 24/7.
What is the longest I can reserve for?
PCS guest may reserve up to one year in advance. If you are PCSing, you may reserve up to 30 days to start. If you need to extend, please let the front desk know immediately as any extensions are based on availability.
Leisure guests may reserve up to 14 days in advance. Anything beyond 14 days must be approved. Please note the beach cottages have a strict 7 day maximum.
One beach cottage reservation is allowed per sponsor. Repeat reservations must be made at least three months apart per base order.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
Upon reserving, a one-night deposit is required to guarantee a reservation. This deposit does go towards your balance upon arrival.
There is a 48-hour cancellation policy. A reservation must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the arrival date, or the one-night deposit will be forfeited.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are only allowed in designated pet friendly rooms at the Inns of the Corps and Klipper Villas. Pets are strictly not allowed in any other lodging facility, including the Cabanas or Beach Cottages.
How far is the commissary?
Marine Corps Base Hawaii’s commissary is no more than a 5-10 minute drive from all our facilities.
How do I get there from the airport?
From the airport take H1 –West towards Waianae. Then take H3 East for Kaneohe. Once on H3 East, do not get off the highway because it ends at Marine Corps Base Hawaii’s front gate entrance.
If I have a friend/family member visiting who is non-military, can they stay?
Yes. The reservation must be made under the military members name and the military member must be present upon check in with their military ID card. Please note, the military member assumes all responsibility for the guests they sponsor.
What comes in each of the rooms?
THE INNS OF THE CORPS: Kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dinnerware/utensils, wall-mounted hair dryer, iron, cable TV, DVD player, complimentary WiFi, AC, daily housekeeping service and a complimentary hot breakfast. Rooms either have one king-sized bed, or two queen-sized beds.
THE VILLAS AT KANEOHE BAY: The villas are fully equipped kitchens, with cookware, utensils, dinnerware, cable TV, DVD player, complimentary WiFi, furniture, washer/dryer and iron. Housekeeping is offered daily. Each room has one queen-sized bed in it.
THE CABANAS AT KANEOHE BAY: Cable TV,  complimentary WiFi, DVD player, mini refrigerator, AC and sink. Room types either include one king-sized bed with a daybed, or two queen-sized beds. Housekeeping service daily. Pavilion with charcoal grills (charcoal not provided).
THE COTTAGES AT KANEOHE BAY: Fully equipped kitchen, charcoal grills (charcoal not provided), dinnerware, cooking utensils, cable TV, iron, DVD player, AC,  complimentary WiFi. Each room has one queen-sized bed in it. The sofa does NOT pull out. Housekeeping offered daily.
