Financial Aid Websites

Bob Berkley, Manager of Reference Publications & MCNet at Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) released a statement to all MCNet subscribers regarding the Free Application for Federal Financial Student Aid. DANTES recommends only the U.S. Department of Education’s web site, http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/, for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA). This site allows individuals to file an electronic application FREE.

FEE CHARGED FOR THE WEBSITE BELOW:

DANTES found that the web sites, http://www.fafsa.com/ and http://www.fafsa.org, while not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education or the FAFSA on the web site, offer FAFSA filing for a fee.
