Pool Rules
All patrons shall comply with the rules and directions of the lifeguards on duty
- All patrons are required to take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool
- Non-swimmers must stay in the designated area in the shallow end within an arm’s reach of parent/guardian
- Only U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices are allowed during open recreation swim period
- Patrons aged 15 and younger must take a swim test to access the deep end
- Infants/children not potty-trained must be fitted with Swim Diapers
- Diapers must be changed in the restrooms
- No flotation devices allowed in the deep end
- Running, pushing, swearing, throwing of objects and other forms of horse play detrimental to the enjoyment of other patrons is prohibited
- No diving into the shallow end
- Jumping into pool must be forward facing into at least 5 feet of water
- No flipping, spinning or gymnastics into the pool from pool deck
- Breath holding or hypoxic training is strictly prohibited
- Full-faced snorkel masks are prohibited
- Kickboards, pull buoys and aqua joggers are for lap swim use only
- Persons with open wounds, skin diseases or bandages will not be permitted in the pool
- Spitting, urinating or otherwise contaminating pool or pool area is prohibited
- No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in pool area
- No smoking or vaping allowed in pool area
- No pets allowed in pool area
- Climbing on lifeguard stands or using lifesaving equipment for other than emergency use is prohibited
- No fraternizing with lifeguards on duty
Patrons in violation of these rules may be denied pool privileges for a period of time designated by the lifeguard on duty.
