Pool Rules

  1. All patrons shall comply with the rules and directions of the lifeguards on duty
  2. All patrons are required to take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool
  3. Non-swimmers must stay in the designated area in the shallow end within an arm’s reach of parent/guardian
    1. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices are allowed during open recreation swim period
    2. Patrons aged 15 and younger must take a swim test to access the deep end
    3. Infants/children not potty-trained must be fitted with Swim Diapers
    4. Diapers must be changed in the restrooms
  4. No flotation devices allowed in the deep end
  5. Running, pushing, swearing, throwing of objects and other forms of horse play detrimental to the enjoyment of other patrons is prohibited
  6. No diving into the shallow end
    1. Jumping into pool must be forward facing into at least 5 feet of water
    2. No flipping, spinning or gymnastics into the pool from pool deck
  7. Breath holding or hypoxic training is strictly prohibited
  8. Full-faced snorkel masks are prohibited
  9. Kickboards, pull buoys and aqua joggers are for lap swim use only
  10. Persons with open wounds, skin diseases or bandages will not be permitted in the pool
  11. Spitting, urinating or otherwise contaminating pool or pool area is prohibited
  12. No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in pool area
  13. No smoking or vaping allowed in pool area
  14. No pets allowed in pool area
  15. Climbing on lifeguard stands or using lifesaving equipment for other than emergency use is prohibited
  16. No fraternizing with lifeguards on duty

Patrons in violation of these rules may be denied pool privileges for a period of time designated by the lifeguard on duty.
