Commanding Officer’s Fitness Series

Throughout the year, 13 races come together to make up the Commanding Officer’s Semper Fit Series. Run along the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, up mountainous terrain, and even through swampy waters, the challenge is always new and exciting. Run one or run them all, it’s something you’ll never forget! The Commanding Officer’s Series is open to the public.

Sunset Flight Line 5K

5:30 pm, Friday, September 21, Between Hangars 101 & 102, MCB Kaneohe Bay

Start your weekend off with a scenic 5K “Pau Hana” run along the air field of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Participants will have the rare opportunity to run on the flight line and runway in this family friendly event. The race will start and finish between Hangar 101 and 102 and will consist of an evening race offering breathtaking views of the Ko’olau Mountains and Kaneohe Bay. This race is open to the general public. Splash & Dash Biathlon

7:00 am, Saturday, October 13, Hangar 103, MCB Kaneohe Bay

Start your Saturday morning off with a brisk 500 meter swim in beautiful Kaneohe Bay and finishing with a scenic 5K run to the Officers’ Club and back. You may register as an individual or as a 2-person relay team. Base Rules: Participants may need to register vehicles at the MCBH Front Gate (H3 entrance). Drivers may be required to present Driver’s License, vehicle registration, safety check and proof of   insurance. Please obey all posted speed limits, and follow guidance. Driving Instructions: Enter MCB Hawaii through the H3 Front Gate. Follow special event signs which will direct you to event location and parking.
