Throughout the year, 10 races come together to make up the Commanding Officer’s Semper Fit Series. Run along the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, up mountainous terrain, and even through swampy waters, the challenge is always new and exciting. Run one or run them all, it’s something you’ll never forget! The Commanding Officer’s Series is open to the public.
Sunset Flight Line 5K
Friday, September 19 @ 5:30 PM, MCBH Hangar 101
Start your weekend off with a scenic 5K run along the air field of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Participants will have the rare opportunity to run on the runway in this family friendly event. The race will start and finish across from Hangar 101 and will consist of an evening race offering views of the Ko’olau Mountains and Kaneohe Bay. The race is open to the general public! Splash & Dash Biathlon

Come start your morning with a brisk 500 meter swim in beautiful Kaneohe Bay, finishing with a scenic 5K along the taxiway of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This race is open to the general public. You may register as an indivdual or as a 2-person relay team. Awards will be given to the top three finishers for each individual age category and the top three relay teams. Turkey Trot 10K
Saturday, November 15 @ 7:00 AM, MCBH Dewey Square Kaneohe Bay
Take a running tour of MCB Hawaii with our last race of the season! The race will start and finish at Dewey Square at MCB Hawaii Kaneohe Bay. There will also be a one-mile family fun run taking place after the 10K. No registration is required for the fun run. This race is open to the public. Base Rules: Participants may need to register vehicles at the MCBH Front Gate (H3 entrance). Drivers may be required to present Driver’s License, vehicle registration, safety check and proof of insurance. Please obey all posted speed limits, and follow guidance. Driving Instructions: Enter MCB Hawaii through the H3 Front Gate. Follow special event signs which will direct you to event location and parking.
