Commanding Officer’s Fitness Series

Throughout the year, 10 races come together to make up the Commanding Officer’s Semper Fit Series. Run along the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, up mountainous terrain, and even through swampy waters, the challenge is always new and exciting. Run one or run them all, it’s something you’ll never forget! The Commanding Officer’s Series is open to the public.

Swamp Romp

Saturday, February 7, 2015 @ 7:00am, MCBH Boondocker LZ / O’ Course Field Kaneohe Bay
The dirtiest race of the year is back at MCB Hawaii and better than ever!!! This year you may register as an individual or as a team of 5-6 members (must finish with no less than 5 team members). Register yourself or get your team ready for an exciting obstacle run through the mud and dirt  aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay.  This unique run takes teams through the Nu’upia ponds and down the Fort Hase beach, over and under obstacles that challenge the strongest of competitors.  The event is open to the public. Click here for complete details and to register online. 2014BeastLogoThe Beast 10K

Saturday, March 21, 2015 @ 7:00am, MCBH Dewey Square
Take a running tour of MCB Hawaii with our first 10K of the season. This exciting race will take runners around the Nu’upia Ponds trail and up the back side of Kansas Tower Hill. The race will start and finish at Dewey Square aboard MCB Hawaii Kaneohe Bay. This race is open to the public. Click here for more details and online registration. Base Rules: Participants may need to register vehicles at the MCBH Front Gate (H3 entrance). Drivers may be required to present Driver’s License, vehicle registration, safety check and proof of   insurance. Please obey all posted speed limits, and follow guidance. Driving Instructions: Enter MCB Hawaii through the H3 Front Gate. Follow special event signs which will direct you to event location and parking.
