Commanding Officer’s Fitness Series

Throughout the year, 13 races come together to make up the Commanding Officer’s Semper Fit Series. Run along the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, up mountainous terrain, and even through swampy waters, the challenge is always new and exciting. Run one or run them all, it’s something you’ll never forget! The Commanding Officer’s Series is open to the public.

Saturday, January 23, 2016 @ 7am, MCB Hawaii Dewey Square, Kaneohe Bay
Join Marine Corps Community Services in kicking off the first running race of the 2016 Commanding Officer’s Semper Fit Race Series.  This challenging 5K run will start and finish at Dewey Square on MCB Hawaii Kaneohe Bay.  The run goes up to the Officers’ Club providing a beautiful scenic view of Kailua Bay and Pyramid Rock, before the main challenge of a steep uphill run that goes up to the famous Kansas Tower providing a breathtaking view of Kaneohe Bay.  The race is open to the public. Saturday, February 6, 2016 @ 7am, MCB Hawaii Boondocker LZ / O’ Course Field, Kaneohe Bay
Hawaii’s dirtiest race of the year is back at MCB Hawaii and better than ever!!! This year you may register as an individual or as a team of 5-6 members (must finish with no less than 5 team members). Register yourself or get your team ready for an exciting obstacle run through the mud and dirt  aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay. This unique run takes teams through the Nu’upia ponds and over/under obstacles that challenge the strongest of competitors. This event is open to the public. Base Rules: Participants may need to register vehicles at the MCBH Front Gate (H3 entrance). Drivers may be required to present Driver’s License, vehicle registration, safety check and proof of   insurance. Please obey all posted speed limits, and follow guidance. Driving Instructions: Enter MCB Hawaii through the H3 Front Gate. Follow special event signs which will direct you to event location and parking.
