Family Readiness Program
The Marine Corps is in the process of shifting from the traditional Key Volunteer model to a Unit Family Readiness Program. To help with this transition is Marine Corps Family Team Building’s Family Readiness Program.
Family Readiness Program Trainer Mele Stender provides standardized Transitional Key Volunteer training, which is open to all spouses of active duty Marines and those serving with Marines. Attending the training is a good way to meet other spouses who share the Marine Corps bond while learning how the command team, MCCS team, and military family work together to manage mission, life, and career events.
The Family Readiness Program also conducts briefs for units, including Family Readiness Officer training and Command Team training. For more information or to schedule a brief, please call 808-257-2657. Family Readiness Program Trainer
