Come join us for our eleventh race of the 2020 Commanding Officer’s Race Series!

Come join the Marines and Sailors of MCBH for the second triathlon of the year! Start your morning with a brisk 500 meter swim in beautiful Kaneohe Bay, followed by a fast paced 11 mile bike ride around the flightline of MCB Hawaii, finishing with a scenic 5K that ends on the MCB-Hawaii flightline. This race is open to the general public.

Race will start at 6:30am on Sunday, August 23, 2020.

All civilians (Non DoD) MUST register by August 9, 2020.

Deadline for early registration with guaranteed shirt: Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Individual, Military: $50.00

Individual, Civilian: $60.00

3-person Relay, Military: $70.00

3-person Relay, Civilian: $90.00

Regular registration begins Friday, August 14, 2020.

Individual Military: $60.00

Individual Civilian: $70.00

3-person Relay, Military: $100.00

3-person Relay, Civilian: $120.00

Online registration will close on Tuesday, August 20 2019 at 11:59pm HST.

Registrations are non-refundable.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three finishers, male and female overall, top male and female finishers in age categories (14 and below, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60+) and the top three relay teams.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-up: Packet pickup for civilians, military, dependents, retirees and DoD employees will be held at MCBH Front Gate Pass House parking lot on Thursday, August 20th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and for military, dependents, retirees and DoD employees at the Semper Fit Center, Building 3037 on Friday, August 21st from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race beginning at 5:00am. All civilian participants will receive a special event pass at packet pickup for base access on event day.

Check in and Safety Inspections: Check-in begins at 5:15am at Hangar 101. A safety brief will take place at 6:15am. Bike Inspections will be held at the staging area and will be provided from 5:15am to 6:15am prior to the start of the race. Helmets must be worn at all times while on the bikes. Bicycle repair kits are highly recommended.

Swim portion: The swim portion will take place in open water in Kaneohe Bay. Swim fins and snorkels are not authorized during the swim portion of the race.

No pets or strollers will be allowed in this event.
